I use traditional and modern construction techniques in our projects depending on your needs, requirements, and budget.

Some of the Construction techniques I employ in new building construction are:

Foundation Construction Basements

  • Traditional Concrete Foundation.
  • I.C.F. (Insulated Concrete Forms) Foundation.
  • Preserved Wood Foundation.
Slab on Grade
  • No basement or crawl space the slab is the main floor.
Crawl Space
  • Traditional Concrete Foundation.
  • I.C.F. (Insulated Concrete Forms) Foundation.
  • Preserved Wood Foundation.
  • Usually a maximum of 4’-0” (1.22m) in height.
Main House Construction (Main Floor Up)
  • Traditional Wood Frame Construction
  • Steel Stud Construction.
  • I.C.F. (Insulated Concrete Forms) – Exterior walls then wood or steel studs for the interior wall construction.
  • Timber Frame Construction with Sandwich panels for Exterior walls. Main Structure requires the involvement of a Structural Engineer.


Other Services Offered:

For Architectural Firms, Interior Design Firms, Home Builders and Companies doing Renovations and Additions I’m available on a contract basis to prepare Development Permit drawings and Building Permit/Construction Documents using your business' CADD Standards and Title Blocks for Wood, Steel or Concrete Construction.

For additions and renovations to existing buildings I will typically use construction techniques to match the existing construction unless more recent advancements in techniques would be more advantageous.
